Here is a great question that I was recently asked below:
I’m thinking about selling clothes on ebay i Just wanted to know if you have sold clothes on ebay an if it a waste of time or it turned out to be good? it will be mostly high end/name brand clothing. I get my stuff from photo shoots so most are new clothes.
I sold a variety of merchandise, and generally didn’t like dealing with clothes that often. However, I did do it sometimes, and the clothing that does best is the very high end name brand stuff (Hollister, Abercrombie, and ever more fancier brands).
It is hard to get the full value, but if you get them free, then I don’t see why you couldn’t turn a tidy profit with them.
If you do decide to sell clothing, here are some tips to maximize your profits:
1. Use a great listing. We have some free basic templates on this site free to help you get the most for your money.
2. Take some great pictures of the clothing. This will help the buyer see what they are buying. Try to get a shot of the authentic tags if you can as well, and any price tags (if any).
3. Make sure to list all of the measurements, including the size (L,M,S), and for pants inseam measurements. Also specify whether they are adult sizes, children’s, etc.
If you follow those tips, you should be able to get the most for your money!
Hope that helps!
